Shelfmate Charcoal Type B
Shelfmate is a unique shelving system consisting of variously sized shelving units to dress up your wall in a practical, yet ultimately stylish way. The shelves are handcrafted from iron and reclaimed teak wood, coming from old Javanese houses. Hang the Shelfmates alone or combined together: the composition possibilities are endless.

For the crafting of our Iron frames, we work with local Javanese suppliers who shape the iron by hand in their workshops.
To create the pipe shapes of our frames and join the parts together, they need to manually weld the iron. When the desired shape is created, the Iron Is sanded by hand, to reach a nice and smooth surface. After being smoothened, the parts are treated to prevent the frame from staining and colored with an eco-friendly finish to give the iron that extra luxurious look.
