First, the long leaves of the plant are cut and stripped with a machete, revealing the threads inside. After scraping out and loosening them, the long strains of fiber are washed repeatedly, before being colored with eco-friendly dye. Then, using traditional knitting needles, our skilled craftsmen securely weave the threads into the desired pattern.
